How to find your card security code:
On a Visa or MasterCard, please turn your card over and look in the signature strip. You will find (either the entire 16-digit string of your card number, OR just the last 4 digits), followed by a space, followed by a 3-digit number. That 3-digit number is your card security code. (See below)
On American Express Cards, the CID number is a 4-digit number that appears above the end of your card number. (See below)
Discover Cards do not currently have card security codes, you may enter 000 in this field.

Credit Card Fraud and Chargeback's

Computer Warehouse - ARS and our family of online websites does not tolerate credit card fraud of any kind including Paypal payments online. No expense will be spared and all fraud without exception will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. In addition, we will pursue civil legal action seeking any loss of income related to the fraud, including business, legal fees, research costs, employee down time and loss of revenues.

We take credit card fraud and frivolous charge backs as a personal attack on our fiscal well-being.

Computer Warehouse - ARS also considers credit card charge backs to be fraud if you made no reasonable effort to notify us that a problem existed, indicate the transaction was not as described, or to resolve or clarify a situation or matter. A simple phone call, email or letter normally resolves any misunderstandings. In days old this was called "common courtesy".

All frivolous charge backs not only costs our employees time away from our usual and customary matters of conducting normal business, but costs us money, therefore:

YOU AGREE that if you choose to do business with Computer Warehouse - ARS or any of our related companies or divisions including eBay and file a charge back with your credit card company and or Paypal payment services you agree to pay us $500.00 plus costs for our time responding to the matter. You authorize us to charge this amount to your credit card. If this charge is rejected, Computer Warehouse - ARS will peruse legal action to recoup losses for our time associated with responding to the charge back in addition to any other fees explained above.

LEGAL: You agree via your conducting business with any Computer Warehouse - ARS location that any legal action resulting from any transaction will be guided by the laws of and take place in the Computer Warehouse - ARS home state of Massachusetts, Worcester, MA District. You agree to reimburse us or any representative we may appoint for any legal expenses your actions may make us incur. We take fraud seriously. If any provision of this Agreement is deemed illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The waiver of a breach hereunder does not waive any other or subsequent breach.

A few notes on credit card fraud.

What constitutes credit card fraud?
You use your credit card to make a payment on an account and then claim that you did not authorize such transaction or the transaction was not as described, that you have no idea what the charge is for and/or you claim the card number was stolen. Also, any other statement, which you know, is not true.
What happens when you falsely dispute a charge?
Falsely denying payment on your credit card will result in legal action against you for the amount disputed. In addition, you will also be liable for the cost of paying the collection agency fees and the cost for a company representative to appear in court in addition to any other company loss or expense associated with the fraud. Credit card fraud is a serious offense and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent possible. This no tolerance policy of fighting back each and every case of credit card fraud by the designated agent will cost you much more money than the original amount of the service's) you received.
How can the Computer Warehouse - ARS prove your identity?
Your identity can be proved through your IP address. In court the IP address will verify your identity and exact time you used the system. We can obtain this IP address by a subpoena or your Internet service provider to obtain your identity. Your Internet service provider is forced through the court subpoena process to give up this confidential information. Your ISP's log file history will show exactly what modem and port you logged on through and make identification through your Account Name and Password. Even AOL and other dynamic IP addresses give us the information needed to prosecute.
How do we collect on fraudulent claims?
The Computer Warehouse - ARS can and will process liens on your property, bank account, and garnishing of wages. This may also result in a report being filed with three major credit-reporting agencies once our case is won. We sincerely hope that it will not come to this, but credit card fraud can not and will not be tolerated. It undermines the entire growth of the Internet and computer based businesses worldwide.
